How mirrors.cam handles camera access, accounts, analytics, support, cookies, and future advertising.
Camera access and local processing
The mirror asks for browser camera permission. Its live feed is displayed and transformed in your browser; the mirror feature does not intentionally upload, record, or store those frames on our servers. This statement applies to camera frames only, not to other website data.
Information we process
Depending on features used, we may process IP address, request URL, referrer, browser, device, language and security logs; local preferences; account, authentication and session records; transaction and subscription records; and messages or files deliberately submitted through support, profile, Mirror Work or gallery features.
Analytics and support providers
The production site uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They may use cookies or similar storage and receive URLs, referrers, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, identifiers and interaction or session-measurement data. The code can also enable Plausible Analytics and Crisp or Tawk.to support chat. Optional scripts must stay disabled until deliberately configured and, where required, consented to.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and enabled providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, web beacons or scripts for sessions, security, preferences, analytics and support. Blocking them may prevent account or preference features from working.
Future Google advertising
mirrors.cam is not stating that Google ads are currently served. If enabled later, Google and partners may place or read advertising cookies, use web beacons and process IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver, measure, limit or personalize ads. We will not intentionally send names, email addresses, camera frames or support-message content in ad requests.
Consent and advertising choices
Before personalized ads are served where consent is required, including the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising must remain disabled until a Google-certified consent management platform is configured and user choices are honored. See Google's partner-sites policy and My Ad Center.
Sharing, retention and rights
We do not sell camera feeds or personal information. Minimum necessary data may be shared with hosting, database, authentication, email, storage, payment, analytics, support and security providers, advisers, or authorities when legally required. Retention depends on purpose and legal obligations. Depending on location, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of data.
Security, children and contact
We use reasonable safeguards, but no Internet service is absolutely secure. The service is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age. Privacy questions and rights requests: contact@mirrors.cam or /contact.
